At Camping Balcon de Chartreuse

RECEPTION HOURS:

  • Low season:
    From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, weekdays.
    From 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, weekends*.
  • High season:
    From 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, daily*.

*Our hours may vary depending on campsite activity; they will be posted on-site.

DEPARTURES AND ARRIVALS:

  • For rentals:
    Arrival from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and departure in the morning before 10:00 AM.
  • For pitches:
    Arrival in high season from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and departure before 12:00 PM.

Accessibility:
Our campsite has facilities equipped for people with reduced mobility and a mobile home designed for accessibility. Feel free to contact us for more information.

Free Wi-Fi:
We do not offer internet packages, but you have access to free Wi-Fi in all common areas (reception, terrace, and snack bar). Note that 4G network coverage is quite good throughout the campsite.

Bread and pastries:
A bread and pastry service is available. By reservation, orders must be placed at reception the day before, and your orders will be available from 8:30 AM.

Pets:

Dogs are accepted, with an additional charge. You must present a vaccination certificate and they must be kept on a leash at the campsite.

Linens:

  • Washing machine: €5
  • Toiletry kit: €6.50 (one toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and two disposable towels)
  • Disposable sheet and pillowcase kit: €11 / 1 single bed – €15 / 1 double bed

Loan and rental:

  • Freezer available free of charge at the bar for ice packs,
  • European plug available free of charge,
  • Charcoal barbecue: €5 / day
  • Refrigerator with freezer for campers: €8 / day
  • Baby cot: €5 / day
  • Television for rentals: €5 / day (by reservation)
  • Rental cleaning package*: €80

Rental deposit to be paid when keys are handed over: €200

*Rental cleaning package conditions:
. The package must be reserved no later than when keys are handed over,
. The rental must be returned in perfect clean condition; the deposit will be refunded within 10 days maximum after your departure and after inspection by the cleaning teams,
. The package does not include cleaning of dishes and kitchen utensils.

You will find all amenities there. A pastry shop/bakery/bar, a grocery store/post office/newsstand/games, a hairdresser, a beauty salon, and two restaurants including the campsite’s!

For your health, independent nurses, an osteopath, and a physiotherapist are at your service.

A local producers’ market is held every Friday morning in the village square: vegetable grower, cheese maker, baker…

Saint-Laurent-du-Pont

(less than 10 kilometers from the campsite)

Very easily accessible village with many shops: bakery, butcher, restaurants, bar-tobacconists, bookstore, grocery store, supermarket with 24/7 gas station, garages, pharmacies, banks with ATM, cinema, and motorhome service point.

A medical practice offers general practitioner services.
