At the farm, you can taste the cheese and other regional specialties. An authentic and enriching experience, giving visitors a chance to discover their story and know-how. Caving in Saint-Christophe
During your visit to Saint-Christophe Cave, enjoy two additional activities after your guided tour: caving and accro-caving, supervised by a qualified instructor. You can explore the Upper Cave by navigating a variety of passages and galleries rich in discoveries, or traverse the Lower Cave beneath its ceiling, all the way to a 40m deep shaft! With these activities, you are guaranteed to make incredible discoveries and experience unforgettable thrills.
Caving
Ages 6 and up, 2-hour duration.
After your visit to Saint-Christophe Cave, gently get initiated into caving and discover the underground environment with a 600-meter horizontal route! This fun and educational activity offers a first approach to caving for the whole family.
Accro-caving
Ages 12 and up, 2 to 4-hour duration.
Accro-caving is a combination of caving, climbing, and tree climbing. This activity will delight you if you are a thrill-seeker! The route has been set up in the Lower Cave, a unique sporting experience just 15 minutes from Camping Le Balcon de Chartreuse. The route includes a 40-meter abseil into a shaft, a zip line descent, a monkey bridge, and high-flying obstacles.
